I currently have your plugin loaded on one of my sites.  I use manage wordpress to manage the site and it is showing a Multiple Blind SQL Injection From WP Scan vulnerability.  I actually couldn\’t find my old purchase code so I purchased another version of the plugin today just to access support.  This is the 2nd month this vulnerability is showing.  Can you let me know when the update is coming out to fix this?  I want to give my client an update as to when it will be remedied.  Thank you for your help.

Hi,

That vulnerability was already addressed as soon as it was discovered. All you need to do is update plugin to latest version.

Version is 4.4.4

Thank you for the quick reply and this is good news.  We have been waiting for that update to be pushed out but so far, it shows as not needing an update.  I usually update the plugins when you push the update out.  Will that happen or do you have manual instructions to update?  I bought the latest version yesterday to get access to support again but didn't want to uninstall the other and install this one and lose all my work.  Can you advise on the best way to manually update?

I figured out how to manually install the new one, so I'm good there but one final question.  I know this comes with 6 months support, can I expect only 6 months of updates or do you still push those beyond the 6 months?  I just don't want the plugin becoming out of date and even on my premium plugins, the updates keep coming so not sure why this one didn't.

Hi,

6 months support is not related to updates. By owning regular license you always have option to download latest version of the plugin. When new version is out you will get email with that information and the procedure is the same like this time. The problem occurred when owner of the ''old'' license lost access to Envato Market (probably email too) so you/him couldn't know the new versions are live. Now that you personally (with your account) have license there is no chance you don't know that new version is ready.

To summarize. With regular license you get life updates but support license is something that need to be renewed.

New license comes with 6 months support like you got now.
