Hi Br0! The plugin worked fine until i compressed the website. I cannot upload the images to the time line. the thumbnails are invisible. Please help. I tried setting the permissions (as suggested in the other tickets) however, it does not work. I suggested my client to purchase this plugin and now its not working. I have to launch the website by Monday. I will be very thankful for your quick assistance. |

Hi, Try the following fixes, in that order: 1. Every folder and file in the path on your server from wp-content/plugins to timeline/timthumb/timthumb.php (that means folders wp-content, plugins, timeline, timthumb and file timthumb.php) need to have a permission level set to 755. You can set it through something like FileZilla. 2. There's a cache folder inside the timthumb folder. Set permissions for this folder to 755 as well, and also there should be 2 files inside that folder, index.html and another file; set the same permission for those 2 files. 3. Delete the index.html and the other file inside the cache folder, and if that still doesn't work, try setting the cache folder permissions to 777 instead, and then deleting the files again (timthumb will recreate them after the first time you delete them). Hi! i have noticed something, the plugin works in the php version 5.2 but the thumbnails disappear in version 5.3 The chmod has been set as advised. yet it doesnot work. so is the version the problem? |
