Hi,  Just downloaded and started a test timeline.  When I insert images, they do not resize to fit the settings.  Is this not a feature?  Do I have to create a template that is the image size setting and then insert images into that template :-( ?
Thanks  Bob

Hi Bob,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Please tell us, could you please explain to us what you mean by "fit to settings".
You have two pictures per Item, one for Item Options and one for Item Open Options.

I set the item option image box to be 240px as the height setting.  When I insert an image that is larger than 240px, it cuts off and crops part of the image.  With Wordpress when you insert a large image into a post, you get the entire image at the size you select.  When I insert an image into your timeline, it does not resize to fit the box height I created.  If I undersize the image by selecting thumbnail, it fits properly, but pixelates the image.

The only way I can fix this is by creating a photoshop template that is 240 px tall and then inserting images into the template and then saving them to the exact size of the image size of 240px

I am trying to determine if this is your design or a problem unique to me.

Hi,
We understand what you mean, this is the design of the plug-in, the preview of the pic is normal, but the thumbnail of the picture on Item Open is inserted to be just a preview. This are the options when inserting manually, when imported throuhg post, you should not have this problem at all.

Hi,  We are using the timeline software from input and not gathered from a post.  So, it seems like I must create a template to import the images into before inserting them into the timeline.  This is doable, but will consume time.

We purchased your software because it was the only one that I could find that did not require a post import to create the timeline.  You may want to consider this for future software updates.

Thanks
