I have a set of dates

I’m using the timline plugin and it’s making 2 sections for year 2001,the demos clearly don’t show it this way.

Hi,

unlike wp or drupal version jquerry version of timeline needs months to separate items properly. Can you try adding months to each item and inform us on result.

I have MM/DD/YYYY for the data-id of each item already. data-description is text so won't need it there. data-name seems to be what is displayed at each point. I changed it to DD/MM/YYYY there and it's still in it's own year. https://www.screencast.com/t/304rVh7wMzGI

I'm kind of getting it. I change the categories property and it shows how it's being broken up into months. 

I'd like to get it display a full year as the segment. and then put the items into those segments. The documentation is slightly unclear in this respect. I cannot get the right combination or usage of the categories, numberOfSegments, and correct data-id. In order to accomplish that.

sorry, but this plugin does not have feature you are trying to achieve. Only moths can be shown as full segments. If you want to explore options of adding this feature you can contact our developer team via development@shindiristudio.com mail.
