Plugin update

I just received a note about a security update to the plugin. I’ve downloaded the latest; however, am not sure of the best way to install the updates. Normally this is done much easier through the WP admin when updates are available. Please let me know if overwriting the existing files via FTP or uploading the zip file via WP admin is the best way to update without losing the existing data/setup on the website.

Hi,

you can use both methods but we recommend FTP as per wp codex.

Always create backup with "old" plugins files of course as that is the best practice and fail safe option.

Thanks, I've attempted updating the plugin and am seeing display errors after updating. When clicking on a slide, the details of that slide don't open. It's just a blank square. I had to revert my site to a backup.

Let us check for potential problems before next try of the upgrade.

PLEASE DO NOT POST VALID LOG IN DATA ON PUBLIC DISPLAY, ALWAYS SEND IT TROUGH EMAIL.

Can you send us your access data for FTP and WP login info via e-mail to support@shindiristudio.com so we could see the problem firsthand? Also, you must include your Ticket ID so we can identify your purchasing and than we can solve your issue.
