I\’ve seen that this has been asked before but the answer doesn\’t seem to have been taken to completion. It also looks like the codebase as changed since those questions were asked.

I\’m looking to remove the dark gray bar from the top of the site since I am using the template for an informational website, not retail. I have removed the

block in the index.html file that has the \”dark-gray-bg\” class. That removes the bar but the remaining nav bar has extra space and completely collapses hiding the nav bar. I\’d like the white nav bar to act the same as it did with the dark gray bar present. How can I achieve this?

If you would like a look, the site is being developed here: https://burwinkel-farms-meanjoe45.c9.io/

Nice template by the way. Seems pretty easy to work with so far.

Hi,

Please include this code into your custom CSS field:

header{
min-height: 85px;
}

This takes care of the initial extra space, but the space comes back after scrolling down then back to the top. It also does not stop the white nav bar from disappearing when scrolling down. I'm hoping to keep the nav bar at the top of the page as it normally is when the dark gray bar is present.
Thanks.

Hi,

The only way to do this is to enroll this code inside the custom CSS code:

.header-nav-wrap{
position: fixed;
top: 0;
left: 0;
z-index: 9999;
width: 100%;
height: 50px;
opacity: 100%;
}

The css changes were not enough to accomplish the look I was going for. I was able to get the look I wanted with changes to the javascript. Take a look at the same sight for reference. Thanks.
