As previously stated in the post id 15287 where can i change the upper menu search to match the results obtained by the footer woocommerce search widget??
I am not able to find where the menu search is changeable in the template at all. I Just want to substitute it with the footer one to have the same page layout and not the Fresh fool bar on the right and the sort of blog results which come from the menu search!

Hi,

We create search to search all web site, posts and pages. But if you set some categories it will search wooCommerce categories.

It is possible to search wooCommerce and also to search all site. There is drop down menu on search where you can see these categories.

Yes, but how can I set to search only woocommerce by default without any other option? If I need to modify a template file.. which one is it?
I just need to abilitate the menu search button like the footer one.

Hello,

 

You need to edit function.php and add custom code (create new function) which modified URL query string and add "product_type=product". For more info please read https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_query_arg/
